Integrated Pipeline

The Tarrant Regional Water District Integrated Pipeline is an infrastructure project for a freshwater pipeline that will connect Benbook reservoir south of Fort Worth, Texas to metropolitan Tarrant County. Kevin Sloan Studio, in conjuntion with MWH Global, is designing a 27-mile-long section. The 100-foot wide easement traverses virtually every type of rural and urban land use. Kevin Sloan Studio developed a system of restoration prototypes for each type of use and pioneered the design for new surface restoration techniques that are ecological and include native ecologies, wildflowers and forbs that would be self sustaining and drought resistant.
